How we fitting him under the cap
God this lineup needs no injuries to be effective. We’ve only had one good line really. Kuz Petey haven’t done much 5v5 together. Kuz only has 5 shots i think?
The third line isn’t providing offense nor the fourth. We are one of the worst 5v5 teams in the league so far. We need him to be good right away and help that first line and push garland down the lineup where he can drive his own line
Also good God i hope they split the first pair up. They haven’t been nearly good enough together to justify not having a puck mover on multiple lines

Last week Drance was saying he still doesn’t have that same quickness out of the gate (which is a major part of his game, along with his top end speed)
I heard someone (maybe Sat Shah or Dan Riccio) say it wouldn’t be unreasonable for that quickness and speed to not be there until next season (and also that we probably didn’t see it last season as he was hurt from the get go).
They need to change things quickly if they do not want to chase teams all season long. Trade Myers and Garland and get a real D like Pesce in Carolina.
