Nearly perfect game. Love that scrum midway through the 3rd, these boys got eachothers’ back! Onto Calgary.

  2. sananablug

Me and Quick will have a truce throughout his Ranger tenure… after that he can go fuck himself.

Congrats on ur first rangers win quick!!!

  3. LemonHayes13

Fun game all around. Bread has completley returned to form. Almost makes me wonder how much he disliked playing for Gallant lol. Also, find someone who talks about you the way Joe does about Laviolette.

  4. JPmoneyman

It’s frustrating that we can’t just play like this every game. Completely shut Seattle down for long stretches of this game. Panarin’s line once again looked really special tonight, I’m convinced the ghosts in his hair were actually real. The challenge now is to do this for 2 games in a row now. Also I think we all kinda expected Quck to be complete ass this season, but if he can play like this that would be fucking phenominal, Great game by him.

  5. blueline7677

So are we just going to switch from being good to ass every other game?

  6. PaulSach

Complete 60 min effort tn. Great bounce-back game after a tough one Thursday. Top 6 was dangers all game. Good team D. Played physical, stood up for each other. Not much to dislike about this one.

Gotta carry this over to Tuesday in Calgary.

  7. Hionhelium87

Rangers Win, I was able to procure the Frankenstein Boo Bucket at McDonalds, life is good!

  8. jerejeje

    Laf goal

    Kakko goal

Chytil had 3 assists(first 3 point game of career)

    Panarin looked like prime panarin

    Quick looked like prime quick

I like it when the Rangers win. It’s fun.

  9. MUSTY_BUSSY

So weird to see Jonathan Quick get us a win. He’s responsible for the first time I ever cried after a hockey game in 2014.

  10. duckets615

Im an honorable enough of a Quick hater to say he has a really good game.

  11. know what the best way to play hockey is in front of your backup goaltender who’s been shaky? make sure he doesn’t actually have to face any shots on goal

defense = playing offense with the puck as far away from Quick as humanly possible. kids were dominant per usual. top 6 was generating a boatload of offense. 4th line needs help but impressive final 40.

  12. Kashmir79

The Rangers are like a box of chocolates…

  13. Tommybrady20

I would like you to get the word out there that…

    *We Back Up*

  14. NewUserWorldnews

    we smoked some krak tonight

  15. duckets615

Good win, but need to keep it going in Calgary. Gotta break this good game bad game cycle.

  16. Asteriskib

Very enjoyable game tonight, panarin absolutely impressing and so is chytil. Quick did an awesome job aswell. Just all around a good team effort

  17. Large_Squirrel1446

Good game. Happy the kids showed up in a big way. Panarin is a beast. Quick was solid. Let’s try to follow this up with another W!

  18. dcgirl98

Great way to come back after Thursday’s game!

The Kids showed us what they can do. Bread was fired up. Quick was solid.

Nice overall effort. Now to keep the momentum going into the next game.

    LGR!

  19. iiKrOna

Team went out and fixed everything people had complaining about. Know it’s only one game but team has the ability to bounce back.

Also weird they played tonight cause I was told the season ended last game

  20. SlimedVenkman

Solid win tonight. Impressed w Quick. Panarin doing what we EXPECT. Fil the thrill baby!

  21. MarsHotelSouth

Very very glad I stayed up for this. Please play like this all the time.

Second line is disturbingly good. Gallant should go to prison for not playing those three together sooner. Also very glad that we got Quick his first win this early. Halak was amazing last year, but it seemed like there was a confidence issue for a few weeks at the beginning until he got his first W and it started to come together. Hopefully we can avoid that and he keeps up the good work

  22. Doctor_Freckles

The first Rangers After Dark of the season was a grand success. Let’s do it again in Calgary!

  23. guyzieman

That second line is fuckin cooking. Even in the losses they’ve been the best line. Love to see it

  24. ShouniAishaKuma

Good win for the boys! 4th line struggled a bit but outside of that very hard to complain too much about our play.

Super strange game with the lighting, Gourde getting thrown out, and all the side swapping. But it was a fun game 🙂

    Onto Calgary on Tuesday LGR!

  25. darkgrayallalone

Thursday was rough to watch. Excellent bounce back tonight.

Hopefully the next Rangers after dark won’t be so literal 😂

  26. RainandPixels

    Rangers winning fixes everything.

  27. aronaussy

I think Sam and Joe put it best about Quick and backups, their job is to win games. Doesn’t matter how much effort, just as long as it happens. Great win brothers

  28. DaSpoot365

A little shaky at points, collected and coordinated in general. “We got pucks deep, got pucks to the net, and scored some goals.” I’d call that a solid hockey game boys. Tonight’s post game cheese is a nice Gruyère recommend by a passionate home cook friend of mine. A great end to a great night.

  29. alphaxion

Early season always brings about weird looking tables.

Who’d have thought you’d be looking at Red Wings on top of the Atlantic and Flyers on top of the Met after 5 games?

  30. BarmyDevonian

Infuriating that the kids had such few chances to play on a line with Panarin under GG.

What a performance by that line tonight. The Kraken had no answer for them

  31. username987MPD

We had a great meal tonight!

    Appetizer: Panarin Goal Sandwich

    Entrée: Kaapo Taco

    Dessert: Laffy Taffy

Enjoyed the Panarin Goal Sandwich so much we ordered another to take home.

All this in one of those fancy dimly lit restaurants. LGR!

  32. jaypeedee1025

Remeber in the offseason when Fans wanted us to trade our supertstar Winger because he had a bad Series peperidge farms remembers.Arti was out there every other shift and was the best player on the ice the whole game Laff looks like he is getting comfortable by the day.Last but not least when Mika and Chytil shots start going in the flood gates will open.

  33. 00Anonymous

The only downside to the dub tonight was watching wheels skate. He looks so awkward I’m wondering if something is not quite right either him.

Most if all seeing the kids in the top 6 and absolutely delivering makes me proud.

  34. Grouchy-Power-806

It must be so cool as a hockey player to grow up and play for your favorite team as a kid.

    Happy for quickie.

I love that Laviolette does not line blender instead of that he seen arti had extra Jump and double
shift him what a concep. Also breadman revenge tour activated

  37. Crimson3312

50-50 hockey isn’t great but it bodes well for the rest of the season.

  38. ItsHeadbangerG

Now that’s the team I know and love! Big difference from Thursday in every way possible. Quick was rock solid tonight, almost makes me not want to resent him for his time on the Kings. Panarin firing on all cylinders. Kakko and Laf poppin off. More of this please!

    See ya Tuesday!

  39. jaypeedee1025

Love that i’m on vacation from work while
the Rangers are on this road trip .l usually wake up at 1 am for work so late games
are hard but i take a week off before My jobs peak season lol

  40. SirusRiddler

Been to every Rangers game in Seattle since the Kraken came to be. 2-0-1 is a good start for sure!

  41. Whitecastle56

My Jonathan Quick slander agenda is not doing well but that means the Rangers are doing well amd that’s fine by me.

  42. Key-Tip-7521

On the first episode of ***Rangers After Dark***, where the night started off with the lights going out in half of the arena. When the smoked cleared out were the team high perhaps? The Rangers tonight, ripped the Kraken shit, till their bones collapsed. An overall great performance. Now the late, late, night review

1st: With the power outage in half of the building (I guess they literally wanted to go green eh?) the Kraken took advantage of the darkness. Very sloppy. Then, the Rangers took over. An excellent pass from Fil to Bread. What a response. The 2nd line all game was amazing.

2nd: This is where the Rangers flexed their muscles. The penalty killing tonight was amazing. Kakko, from orders of Leon from Curb to do what he was told to, he listened. A gritty in the dirty area goal. « Wow it’s a nice goal. » A lot of excellent shifts out here tonight. Trouba’s « penalty » was indeed sus. Laf added to the goal sheet from a Filthy pass from Fil. OHHH Baby.

3rd Period: The Rangers excellent forecheck continued. Defensively, they looked even better. Bread got another after Chytil set him up for his goal. 3 Apples from Fil, 2 apples for Key on the night. Lots of extra curricular activities towards the end.

Overall, the Rangers rebounded after that shitty performance on thursday. Great shifts, excellent forechecking, better breakouts, excellent pk, great physical play tonight. Give Lav credit for giving minutes to Bread, Laf, and Chytil when they were cooking. More importantly, Rangers win! The first episode of ***Rangers After Dark*** named Lights Out, Bread risen from the depths. Idk I’m tired. I need to go to bed.

Oppie w/the late night text, « Take in the Sheets. » Another 2 pts in the bag. Onto the Flames on Tuesday. Get sleep everyone

God Save the King. Back afta dis

Oh Kakko Scored so: [https://youtube.com/shorts/4Hlk3NxC-Qs?si=Y2b8X3J82oakziaQ](https://youtube.com/shorts/4Hlk3NxC-Qs?si=Y2b8X3J82oakziaQ) or [https://youtube.com/shorts/bhSIlwq3AK0?si=ddWStKxfsswytg9f](https://youtube.com/shorts/bhSIlwq3AK0?si=ddWStKxfsswytg9f)

  43. catcher6250

Does anyone have a clip of Trouba’s ‘boarding’ penalty?

  44. Jokercard08

No notes. Big bounce back. Let’s get two more Tuesday.

  45. Envelopen

Im deff buying into Lavi’s system so far, it seems concise and simple. Hoping that he can help us do much better in OT games this season than last.

  46. dankeykanng

Laf’s positioning and awareness on the play that led to his goal was so good.

It’s nice that the team actually has a coach who rewards him with some goddamn ice time for playing well.
