I like the vibe, but the logo needs to be cleaned up.
The veins in the current logo have specific meanings, so « In our veins » immediately draws me to look more closely at the veins of the leaf in this logo, but they look all messed up. It’s got that weird AI look to it.
Aesthetically, not bad though.

It looks cool but I think you overlooked something that’s really cool stuff about the actual logo.
There are 17 veins representing 1917 the year the team was founded.
The points in the veins above the words represent Stanley cups won. 13 points, 13 Cups.
And also the points of the Leafs itself equal 31 which represents the year Maple Leaf Gardens opened for hockey.
The points are also placed with reasoning although i can’t find mention of it so it’s possibly only my thinking. Reading from left to right there are 3 then 6 and 4 on the right. This to me looks to represent the different eras the cups are win in.
3 Cups in the 20’s era 1918, ’22 and ’32.
6 Cups in the 40’s era 1942, ’45, ’47, ’48, ’49 and ’51
4 Cups in the 60’s era 1962, ’63, ’64 and ’67.
