Gotta be honest, I’m not feeling so good.

  2. Icommentoncrap

Why must Buffalo sports always bring me pain

  3. RMazze

Tuch hit the net, make an accurate pass or do literally fucking anything challenge: IMPOSSIBLE

  4. Mean-L

Man I really needed a win today after the Bills game. Pain.

  5. PrinciplesRK

That sucked to lose. If we play like that consistently we’ll win a lot more than we lose though. Not going to get goalied every night.

  6. Son_Of_The_Empire

    J. Allen has hurt me bad twice in two days

  7. elkaroo

Sabres and Bills sharing an offensive play book

  8. reddevils1099

To be fair, Allen really played his ass off out there

  9. Great-Reference9322

This is a game where you need to get bodies to the net once you realize that no shot is getting past Allen. I swear to god this team has had zero net front presence since the last time we made playoffs ffs

  10. sarcastic_man_13

Granato has no clue when to pull the goalie and I’m getting very annoyed on how lazy Tuch is playing

  11. marinatedpeaches

Preseason analysts were saying the Sabres were guaranteed to go. I never once believed that lol. If anything, i knew they would have to fight for it.

Not 100% clean but they pretty clearly dominated that game after the first five minutes. Anyone dooming over this one is beyond help. This is the effort we need to see from them every game.

Okay guys so same time tomorrow?

  14. 3rdEyeJoker

We got goalied but I’d prefer the boys rushed the net for rebounds more

  15. rebirtha88

It’s the royal blue jerseys, unfortunately. Cannot convince me otherwise.

Who saw Tuch being our worst player to start the season? So far, he’s hurt this team more than Olofsson. Olofsson.

  17. BuffaloThrilla

Can we please, for the love of fucking a Christ, use one our 6 foot 4+ fucking guys to screen a god damn goalie?

  18. ojralphsasha

Learn to play hockey. Finish a check you pussies. Play hard in the corners. Embarrassing

So glad they made a point to say both of the coaches in tonight’s game focus on coaching with positivity and avoid negatives.

Yup, and that’s why we just watched two of the last place teams. Meanwhile Torts with PHI, regardless of skill will play for 60 mins night in an out and play a structured system. Just like Ruff and NJ as well. When is the last time anyone said anything remotely like, boy those Sabres will play you hard and play for 60 mins night in and out.

There’s no accountability in this damn organization and why we just refuse to hire a proven coach that has proven track record is just mind boggling.

How can a team out-shoot their opponent that badly and not bank more than one goal? Like, I get that a netminder may have had an unusually good game against us but when does luck finally get on the Sabres side? When do they start trying to place shots in spots other than the logo? When does someone inform them that it’s perfectly legal to stand in front of the goalie? The last part is surely so basic that even Granato knows this. So much potential being wasted right now.

Didn’t score 5v5 and got beat soundly in xG in the first and 3rd. It didn’t look that bad to the eye since the Sabres had the puck a lot and attempted a lot of shots, but they’re not getting pressure in the dangerous areas and they’re still giving that up

    Not good enough

  22. rolltribe

Isles fan here. You guys have a good team. Most likely we will be battling for a wild card spot later in the season. Good luck!

  23. SocialSnizassin

Very clear this team didn’t come out of training camp ready to compete for the win. Playing cute all the time. Need to play the game hard. Theres only one person to blame when a team doesn’t come out of camp ready – the coach.

  24. edit-the-sad-parts

Comrie was pretty good considering almost every shot the Sabres gave up was dangerous, so one silver lining I guess

  25. adolce95

Saying « hey maybe they should crash the net » is insightful.

Saying « ARG BLARG FIRE THE COACH SIX GAMES INTO THE SEASON » is straight up clown behavior lol

  26. AlexLH12

Death, taxes, and being let down by Buffalo sports

  27. SeriousNeckbeard

At least they started losing right out of the gate. Didn’t even waste my time being optimistic today.

  28. Fradulent_Zodiac

Our entire forward group is all finesse and no grit/grind. So many redundant skill guys but won’t commit to bogging down the front of the net.

Why did we bring back Okposo and Girgensons? Love them personally but the 4th line is a liability.

Comrie looks almost every bit of a starting goalie the last two games.

Any team within a 5 hour driving radius of Key Bank playing against the Royal Blue in a hall full arena on a Monday-Wednesday night is an auto-bet from here to eternity.

  29. rebirtha88

I just imagine Granato’s practices being like the scene from mighty ducks D2 where they just have a blast playing tag, lassoing people, messing with beach balls, etc

  30. BARDLER

Out playing your opponent and giving up 12 high danger chances while only getting 4 is a problem.
