We got thoroughly outplayed in the 3rd and OT. Got a point but got to clean up the third. I know the canes are relentless on the attack but we gotta help out the goalie.

At least we did get an OT point. And earning 3 out of a possible 4 points from the Canes series is a satisfactory result given the toughness of this matchup.
What is it with this team and just going to sleep after one period. Not good enough. Plain and simple.
The canes were a tough match up for us last year too. I would’ve been a little surprised to beat them twice in about a week.
I know we took the L but as always, proud of the boys! They worked hard and are working out the weak parts. Still some things to tighten up but we are definitely seeing progress, especially with less penalties and our passing looking awesome tonight. That goal by Ebs in OT gave him a big boost because he played completely different tonight which I’m very pleased to see.
Stick-tap for Joey! Wow he looked incredible tonight. The amount of shots he took and giving up almost ZERO rebounds is amazing. Very happy for Joey, he definitely gets the game stick.

This game was so good overall, especially comparing to our season start. It’s like a different team altogether. We have fire and passion and despite the tough loss I hope we just keep carrying that energy and effort.
Needless to say, Joey is an absolute fucking star. I’m absolutely taken by what he did tonight. As the game went on, I actually started to feel pretty calm when the Canes had a breakaway or there was some kind of scramble to shoot. Like joeys got us. I feel safe when he’s on.

If it wasn’t for Joey that 3rd would’ve been a slaughter. It was all Canes which I mean isn’t super surprising they tend to be a 3rd period team.
I’m really happy though because technically both my teams won. Kraken really need to work on their 3v3 hockey. To have had control for as long as they did and have nothing to show for it sucks. A bright spot I did notice is that Wenny has been shooting the puck a lot more than usual.
I hope Joey gets to rest his back cause it must be killing him from carrying this team.
Damn Joey is looking good, really nice to see. Don’t hear the GRuBaUeR white knights and their copium lately, also nice to see.
Very proud of Joey, the rest of the guys need a little bit of work lol. Still love the boys, just wish they would make better passes into the offensive zone and less turnovers would be nice, too.
