  1. Poulin hits the nail right on the head. The problem is the Marner comp. Marner is overpaid. Now you're basically screwed. THANKS DUBAS!!!

  2. Okay, so they sign him for 9.5 million. Then what? They play a season with half the roster thinking they could be gone next season so the team can afford Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Reilly? Bertuzzi's good as gone, and the D will never improve. They missed their chance by not trading Marner before his NTC kicked in.

  3. Willy is worth a raise who comes off the roster 2 pay him. It has 2 b somebody making money because we need d help.who is gone.

  4. Btw trade marner for some d nylander is more valuable that shouldn't be a question

  5. Not trading Fred Vanvleet, by last February’s NBA trade deadline, Matt is having a walk-through nothing late in June from the Raptors. The Leafs need to break up the core-4 to have a chance of playoff success. It’s a question of how they should do so rather than end up like the Raptors with no draft pick or prospect for FVV. Acquiring players off free agency is always risky, but putting together a roster with only players drafted by that team isn’t easy either.

  6. Hes risking it bigtime by getting hurt…. if he gets hurt in a big way, hes really SOL at that point and he wont be making ANY money at all. Sure, small chance of that, but it does happen.

  7. Man whoever uploads for TSN absolutely sucks.. spelling errors, and constant videos (particularly Overdrive) without audio. Insane for a company this renown.
