    Another game where I thought we played pretty well and maybe deserved better. We just allowed some deflating goals at the absolute worst times. Seems to be a theme this year

    We badly, badly, badly need to fully commit to a rebuild. This team has always starved for a true superstar forward. We should be hoping for a shot at Cole Eiserman in the draft this year. If you haven’t heard of him, take a look at what he’s done with the USNTDP. That is exactly what this franchise needs

    Personal takeaways/my thoughts:
    1. Tolvy seems to hold a grudge. How could he not?
    2. Grubauer is a sly mofo, I’ve always thought so personally. (I’ve got shade for Bobrovsky too after a few years ago I watched him throw himself backward on the ice in the most dramatic fashion, faking a contact with a Preds player to draw a penalty. Multiple tv reviews showed space & embellishment, even Mace commented that was out of his character. I believe the penalty stood, but I was too shocked by the swan dive to remember properly)
    3. The refs don’t seem to care about at least 15% of the penalties we get, but feels like they bust us for the slightest things 🙄 I know we are not sweet little angels, either. We’re not quite dirty enough & I kinda just miss the physical assault that was Tanner Jeannot 😆
