I feel so defeated and it has nothing to do with the outcome
I think Bratt really took over when Jack went down as if he knows someone else had the be The Guy. I like it. Meier played well, Mercer played well, Schmid played well. Losing sucks and the blues aren’t exactly contenders, but for the second night of a back to back without your top two Cs I think it was a solid performance.

How dare this training staff, once again, throw one of our star players back on the ice after such an on ice injury. And then both players get hit again and leave the game for good. It can’t be an overreaction to say someone on the staff has to lose their job because of such bone headed decision making that impacts our team’s core players. It doesn’t matter how the player says they feel, of course they’ll be tough and say they are good even if they aren’t. The staff makes the final determination if the player is good or not. This crap can’t fly anymore and changes simply have to be made.
Prayers for Jack
Pump the brakes it’s early on in the season. Sub can tend to be a LITTLE BIT bipolar lol. It absolutely sucks to lose Hughes and Hischier but it is far from the end of the season. Get a nice day off today for them to reevaluate Jack. Let’s hope he was just banged up and will miss minimal time. In the meantime we have depth scoring in Bratt, Toffoli, Haula, Hamilton, Luke, the list can go on. We will be good. Watch the Red Bulls playoff game today to take your mind off it. You might just see what some proper despair in a franchise looks like as well lmao 🙁

Pain meter maxed out
Frustrating we couldn’t find the back of the net more. It was just one of those games. Kudos to the blues for not giving up too many power plays. That might have been the real difference for them.
