as a torontonian growing up in the 60's surrounded by hockey culture, the novelty and hype 6 decades later surrounding bedard and his deadly 'wrist shot', is about as exciting as watching paint dry, compared to watching a REAL SPORTS PHENOM, viz Victor Wembanyana of the San Antionia Spurs, and i am NOT EVEN A BASKETBALL FAN!!!!!!!!!, sure shorty has a great shot and some tricky shifty moves, but compared to watching real excitement on the ice, you would have to clone Bobby Orr to spark interest………BORING!!!
