No matter how you feel about TDA, that’s a scary play for anyone to go through.

Wasn’t he bleeding too? He seemed to wave off the injury check but seemed to be bleeding at the next face off.
I don’t think it was intentional, but it was super reckless and a potentially dangerous play. So the fine is appropriate.

Rusty gate to the face is certainly a tough one. Sure it wasn’t intention, it’s a common move, but nevertheless have to fine him for clipping him in the face.

It was a whack, and I thought they should have checked TDA for a concussion, based on his stunned reaction, rather than letting him go on the PP.
As a CAR fan I don’t think it should be a fine, but if the league thinks it was that serious, I hope they also have told the refs to insist on concussion protocol in that situation, rather than let the guy say “I’m okay” and let him play immediately.
