   I’ve been critical of him recently, but this was one of his best games, I hope he can perform like this in the future.

   Every time I read « St. Louis » I think of Marty, so that was a confusing title to read for a second.

   I think Slafkovsky needs some more space still this early in his career. Putting him with Suzuki and Caufield will give him that time

   This kid will develop like Byfield and eventually be better than him at the same age.

   I like how often he makes a pass in the offensive zone and then goes right to the net. Didn’t pay off this game but if he keeps doing it he’s going to get rewarded.

   Give him time. Progress isn’t linear y’all. You need failure to get better. He’s going to be a monster. Love his attitude, he’s handling the pressure really well.
