Well, interesting to note last year, after a 4-4-2 start, all the same type of panic induced, negative comments were being made then, as they are now. Why do so many posters think they have it all figured out after 11 games of an 82 game season, with the Leaf record now 5-4-2. What makes you clowns think you know more than the coaches, the players etc. The fact is, 90% of you know squat or less. Most people who actually know anything, have observed it generally takes 20-25 games in, before you can make an accurate assessment of your team. We're not there yet, so maybe calm down a bit. In defence of many antsy fans, there's no question the new guys have been a disappointment so far, but again…..just 11 games.
It's not all bad for the Leafs..they have only been half as bad as San Jose when comparing both teams last 2 home games..lol..lol..my ribs are too sore.
Morgan reilly did not have a good game against Buffalo on saturday and it spoiled Mathews hatrick when the Sabres scored a couple gifted goals given to by the weak defence the leafs displaced Saturday by not taken the man by the net by Nocking the Buffalo player down to nullify him not to score.
Gregor acting like nylander with his speed going behind the net and no results to score on the angle shot but should be driving to the net with a better chance to score with his teamnate on a give and go play.

Give them some time on the 3d line to try and find their game. I think Knies and Gregor deserve a look in the top 6…

The supporting cast of this team, Bertuzzi, Domi, Klingberg, Knies would all excel in a different system. The core players of this team are just weak and soft and become completely useless when hitting season starts. Marner is just pancake mix on skates and no where near 10.9 AAV. Total joke of a cap hit for Mitch, they should shop him
