They are still the line that does the best defensively and Rod won’t give that up for anything.
We just really haven’t needed them to step up offensively since our Stars are playing so well and the Powerplay has been clicking.

What the heck is going on with the fan base this season? Everyone is acting like if our lines aren’t outputting like a Mathews – Crosby – Mcdavid line then they’re dog shit. Our 3rd line, not the top line, not even the second line, is doing exactly what they’re meant to do. I’d rather the goal scorers be dealing with 3/4 line chubs than top liners any day of the week with how good the stall line has been

it would help if at least one of them had better accuracy, Staal gets a ton of shots sent right at the gut it’s pretty frustrating, but i think Martinook has the best chance to get the most goals

For as much as this fanbase complains about our lack of scoring, no one seems to have any issue with 1/2 of our forward lines not being able to score.
