Lmaooo there was a game last year (Oilers vs NYR I think?) where the 2nd period was just penalty after penalty. Referees were calling everything and then some. Something like 30 combined penalty minutes.
This has identical energy.

So did Colton get bounced for the cross check to the face or the boarding?
Hamilton should have been ejected from this game as his hit was straight to the numbers and was retaliation. Also that Colton hit was the same exact hit Tofolli made on Manson that lead to their first goal. Mansons just a man playing in the NHL and Hughes looked like a beer leaguer expecting nothing but a stick battle.

Perhaps someone can clarify this for me: Colton was assessed a 5 minute major and a 2 minute minor; with the major, the Devils can score an infinite amount of goals and the Avs have to remain shorthanded for the full 5 minutes, correct? Also, is the major or minor served first?
I hope these questions made sense.
Was Colton issued a misconduct or game misconduct?

we were always going to give up a goal on that major. the important thing was the goal by Wood to at least give us a chance to come out of this tied.
