St Louis said that, and I’m sort of paraphrasing here: I never felt the pressure of being « that guy » for my team because I knew that if I wasn’t scoring or if I wasn’t having a good game, I knew there were other guys that could score and do things.
I don’t know if anyone here has the exact quote but he’s basically saying that it’s hard for them to be those guys right now because there’s not a whole lot of guys like Caufield and Suzuki on our team. He does say that « that’s what we’re building ». Me personally I think Suzuki and Caufield are doing just fine

We’re missing a PPG player to help. Plus Roy is looking legit to add to this next year.

Your typical top line would have 3 quality players. Our top line has been a revolving door. They are still doing well and producing. Caufield is is playing great, the puck is just not going in. He’s getting the shots and chances so I’m not concerned… too much.

They need a right winger that can produce now ! Not a project !

One is PPG other has 10 points in 12 games.
😂😂
and they do.
> 2 best offensive players on team that has lacked production for decades, are needed to generate offense. More at 11.
Last time I checked, they were doing just that?
>I want to be able to win more games for us in regulation and at five-on-five
OT and PP production is hiding lack of production at 5v5. Caufield has 2 primary points at 5v5 while Suzuki has 3 ([x](https://www.nhl.com/stats/skaters?report=scoringRates&reportType=season&seasonFrom=20232024&seasonTo=20232024&gameType=2&playerPlayedFor=franchise.1&filter=gamesPlayed,gte,5&sort=pointsPer605v5,goalsPer605v5&page=0&pageSize=50)). Their production rate at 5v5 is currently nowhere near first line level. However, they’ve been unlucky with a low one-ice shooting % (7.4% for Caufield, 5.4% for Suzuki). It should ramp up eventually, law of average and such.
