  1. When 2 goalies on a team have almost the exact same numbers…..that usually means goaltending is not the issue.
Swayman & Ullmark have similar stellar numbers in Boston because the team in front of them is consistently good.
For Campbell & Skinner the team in front of them is consistently bad.

  2. Oilers are to good to count them out …they will find their game and when they do ..Kapow

  3. Whenever a goalie is swimming in the crease, his game is off the rails.

  4. If their offence (McDavid) doesn’t start producing like last year, no playoffs.

  5. Think Jay is next on the list. Usually when players are playing this way, they've lost trust in the leadership.

  6. Maybe Leafs' GM Treliving should take note of how poorly Ilya Samsonov has performed and place Sammy on waivers in favour of vet Martin Jones. At least Sammy's existing contract expires in June and only counts against the cap until the 2024 postseason when no cap applies.

  7. I remember when Ken Holland got signed by the Oilers. I read a lot of comments of Detroit fans rejoicing and saying "You'll see"

  8. The irony in this situation is once Jack Campbell leaves Edmonton he's going to turn into the best goalie in the world for a different team lol!

  9. Too many weird contracts, Nurse at 9.25M still a mystery. #14 came to cover for #25's signing IMHO. 97 and 29 made so many guys look good last year.

  10. Campbell always lacked the mental toughness to be a #1 goalie. The great ones don't assume Charlie Brown's posture every time the team in front of them loses. As for Kenny Holland, the best thing the Wings did for you was helping you leave when Steve came back.

  11. Save percentage means nothing after 11 games when the shots are all dangerous cross ice tap ins.
