Nice win for the boys on a great night for hockey. Top line popped off with Levi holding strong but faceoffs still an issue and so is reffing lmao. Easy to complain about but both goals came off calls and how can Greenway get cross checked 5 times and they only call JJs push in the first and dont call Foligno trying to kill guys

What happened to Savoie?
Probably the best game I’ve seen by Levi so far
Well deserved win. However, I am going to have to hear a very good reason why Donny Meatballs only let Savoie go onto the ice for 3:55 all night. We just burned one of his 9 games for 4 mins? And we had Okie on the PP over him? What are we doing here?

Team played sloppy. Levi played great. Feels good to be on the other end of getting goalied.
It makes sense to limit Savoies ice time to nothing in the 3rd, the Wild were borderline head hunting, no need to throw him to the litteral wolves in his first NHL game and one of his first games back from injury.
Jedi Grandmaster Devon Levi has been assessed a 50 game suspension for illegal use of the force to stop pucks tonight. Probably Levi’s single best NHL performance yet.

Peterka, Skinner and Thompson is a really solid line.. Really solid.
Skinner 7 goals in 14 games. And on a 2-game streak recording a hit. Might be a career high.
4-1-1 in last 6 games. Momentum. Ride those vibes.
Not bad for some guys being hurt and other guys playing like shit in their spots. We can and will get better.
We must lead the league in penalties taken while on the power play. I noticed it in preseason and it’s continued up to now. Losing faceoffs and then a bad giveaway in your own end will get you to take a lot of penalties. Not for nuthin’ but that’s something that helps drag down their numbers overall.

Levi had a stellar game. He’s getting comfortable out there.
I’m curious who else in sports has had a similar career arc as Casey Mittelstadt? A plum bust for a good chunk of years, and then in his 6th/7th season has an abrupt breakout unbusting.
Geno Smith fits – though he was a 2nd round, not 8th overall. Any others?
