It is amazing that a first round pick is the penalty months upon months later and yet, Chicago lost no picks for their behaviour and cover-up. The NHL cares about US revenue and does not care about players/people.
I'm sure he was looking for any excuse to fire the guy.
Props to Dorion for building the core that we and the league are super impressed by, both in terms of skill and value in contracts. Pierre is a polarizing figure with big ups and big downs, and I understand this move, but at the end of the day he served the sens for a long time and his mark on this team will last at least another decade
“Resigned” means Andlauer doesn’t have to fulfill contract payments or any severance???

Dorion deserves some credit for assembling and locking up the core of this team. I wish him all the best going forward, but this was the right move.
Too much ugly during the dorion era. Very few draft picks playing for the franchise, poor trades and asset management. Even without this debacle it was time to move on

This is horse crap the NHL is so biased in favour of the American teams. It’s not even funny , I am a Winnipeg Jets fan but when I heard the news, I’m really pissed off that you guys lost your first round pick as a fellow Canadian. This really really makes me angry. The fact that Chicago can not get their first round pick taken away for a sexual assault case that involve the entire organization is beyond me. The NHL really needs to get its act together. They should at least got a fine that’s it. No more no less.

Martian echo's my opinion exactly. Alfie cannot be put into a position where he could be fired from the team. The franchise would never recover from that breach of trust.
