woody is losing the team. I dont know what changed from last season to this season. Practically the exact same team on paper, it makes no sense. Mcdavid and draisaitl also both look off. Is it something deeper behind the scenes thats affecting the teams morale? It makes you wonder..
No chance at firing Holland in his last year as GM. Coaching staff was good last year; maybe some flubs in playoffs but it was their first year (half year) at the job. Maybe the goalie coach but I don't know how much of a difference it'll make. Skinner is off and Campbell isn't rebounding.
Somethings up; either the locker room is out of control and no one is getting along or they don't believe in the coach, which would be nuts to do this quickly.
The locker room glue guys we had last year aren't here now; so a downward spiral is happening. Our stars aren't producing; not sure exactly why. If this trend continues until 20 games in; I think we miss the playoffs. And who knows what happens next year.
As Leon said in the off-season it’s “cup or bust”….clearly Jackson and co. will bust this squad up and it’ll start with either letting Holland go now or Campbell
Forwards not coming back , and way to many forwards cherry-picking waiting at blue line or center line , if they came back it might help defense, , just saying

I can see these boys coming back. that one point in the second period where the Oilers had them pend in their own zone for a lengthy time was liking watching the old oilers, then they just lost it all. like they fell asleep.
It's sad the Oilers aren't doing too well. What a fall from having seen a conference semifinal just under 6 months ago to perhaps ending up performing about as badly as the 2021-22 Habs.
I really question how the goalie coach hasn't been fired after all these years. Our goalies need a different voice, something needs to change there. Asap.
You do know this is all because of sport betting books paying into them throwing games right? Makes the odds go way more insane for them to make the playoffs. Will be a great bet in a few weeks now to bet on them winning the cup. Let's not forget that all sports now are just the same as 1990s wrestling unfortunately.

People say that after 10 games of the season we have a pretty good idea of what we have to look forward to the rest of the season.
