Anyone have an inside scoop on why Gio got an instigator? Domis I get.
Gio looks for a fight, backs off, Joshua drops his gloves and they’re square. All I could imagine would be they deemed him to have travelled an excessive distance which was maybe 30-40ft, is there a concrete distance or just another rule where refs can use their wonderful judgement to make calls?
I hope the guys on the bench take notice of this. It shouldn’t be up to the oldest guy on the team (in the league still if I’m not mistaken) stepping up. The bench looked pretty pumped after it, Nylander in particular looked buzzin off it, show as he got that dirty goal in the 2nd.
Hear the crowd erupt for Gio actually getting amongst it. Too bad they cant step up when there's actually a dirty play against one of their players…
