    This certainly passes the eye test. Every time I watch us in our own end, I just keep thinking, « This doesn’t look good. »

    It’s a bit strange because I feel like the biggest issue is just clearing the zone. It’s multiple times a game where I hear “jackets fail to clear the zone” and I can tell my girlfriend “we’re about to get scored on”, which we do. Our transition/neutral ice play has looked better this year ImO

    This is why I feel like we need blankenburg back. He’s a defensive stay at home D man. All our guys are to offensive minded. We need that guy that makes sure we don’t get a 2vs 0 break away. Blanks does score a bit but there’s more to hockey then that like preventing the other team.
