  1. The Oilers COULD fire WoodCroft and hire Joel Quenneville. I’m sure it would be unpopular in some quarters, but desperate times call for desperate measures

  2. Oilers should either trade or send Kane down to the AHL and replace him with a more skilled player. Kane doesn't carry the puck well and gets in too many fights. Power play goals against are the result of his penalties.

  3. This team didn’t fall apart as much as last nights Dolynney meltdown almost making him the biggest joke in town 😂

  4. Remember the movie (Miracle on ice) what did Coach Brooks tell the team when it was pick. ( I'll be your coach, I won't be your friend. If you need one of those, take it up with Doc or Coach Patrick.) and throout the series he was their coach making and doing what coaches do, this is whats wrong with hockey today everybody loves everybody, but it dont work like that. Jay, Ken, coaching staff, and everybody else. Yout there to win a Stanley Cup not to be freinds.

  5. No one can explain 1 change that Jay has made that makes him a vital member of this team. He’s contributed nothing & adds to the confusion of players by constantly changing lines. This is the result of a team that can’t develop split second timing because they are always playing with different players nearly every game. Nearly every shift!! It’s impossible to accurately anticipate what another teammate will do without instinctual chemistry among players. Lines need to be kept as stable as possible. When they are clicking you don’t change them until opponents figure out how to disrupt them. The McD-Leon-Kane line in the 22-23 playoffs against the Kings was the best line I’ve ever seen. Jay broke it up at the start of the 23 season. The guy can’t stop tinkering with things even when they work. He’s always lost musings circumstances. His only talent is public speaking. He should be in charge of PR. That’s it!!

  6. baffling that they are looking for a goaltender as the defence is the biggest problem. There are many videos out there showing players coasting into their own end on a back-check and other videos of defence watching the play happen. Absolutely any goaltender in the league would get lit up with how bad the defence in front of him is in Edmonton.

  7. so the big plan is to keep the gm and allow him to make the big trade that’ll get you back on track!? Sounds weird, isn’t this the dude who put you in this predicament? Soup boy will never be a nhler and should never be allowed to put on a oilers jersey again

  8. The first one i will fired is the general manager Ken Holland. He did not do a good job in the summer. He thought the team has Mcdavid and Leon is good enough to win the Stanley Cup.

  9. You could trade the two money suckers and between players and draft picks you’d could put a very competitive team on the ice

  10. Other than the two money suckers. Which you have to resign soon. What’s on your roster anyone want. I’m glad they’re tanking So much for Bettman deciding who goes where with the 1st draft pick CAN BETTMAN HE SUCKS

  11. Seattle is going to mop the floor with the Oil….. this team has not an ounce of strategic poise. Oilers clean house of GM and coaches….Coffey making it legit after the road trip.

  12. The goalie is not the issue . Oilers have “zero” defence …..and two prima donnas who have drank the poison that they are the world’s best players….really I do not think so ….they have no heart ….no discipline ….they will lose tonight

  13. Kostin loss was not needed but they will work things out goaltending and defence is needed. We will get past this in time and its only the season starts so we have time to change things
