  1. the rangers blue jackets game was one of the most exciting games i've seen, so so pleased for lafreniere, hope he keeps it up, he's the missing piece we need to make the step up to top 3 in the league

  2. The replay in the rangers game did not show it crossing before the whistle, they refs decided that the puck was frozen even though the whistle hadn't been blown yet

  3. Dear the Hockey Dude.. Every intelligent person knows that you wearing a jersey does not jinx a team.. Only when you do videos on teams, that is when your voodoo influences the outcome.. 🧙‍♂️

  4. At this point, “Mika, shoots wide!” haunts my dreams. Really hoping he finds his groove soon, it’s been a rough start to the year for him.

  5. As a Star's fan I have to say I felt bad for Fleury, by the time we had hit 5 past, I was praying the coach would pull Fleury out of the game, and I'm not sure how I felt about them keeping him in net for all 8.

  6. CBJ cant win to save our lives. They are trying now but they just cant quite get it done.

  7. Oh most high hockey guru(and you are!) the puck 100% crossed all the way over the goal line BUT there was no clear video evidence, and why do I know this….I live in #RangersTown !!!
The refs were dogs all game long…

  8. Funny your comment about dogs. My female lab runs every time I turn on a hockey game. Being a Stars fan I did make plenty of noise last night to keep her away.

  9. I'll be real, the puck was behind the post. Watch that one again, it reallt made no sense. All the NHL boards seem to be agreeing that it was weird.

Maybe they didn't have a good angle but no way did that "clearly" not cross the line

  10. The winning goal in the shootout should count as a goal. Any other scored in the shootout shouldn’t count.

  11. Remember, when Doug Wilson wouldn’t offer Pavelski a three-year contract because he was afraid his production would fall off. Good times.

  12. Blue Jackets finding ways to lose at this point. They looked pretty good last night, too. Gotta be lots of frustration in that locker room.

  13. Dallas are really heavy this year. No weaknesses and a solid roster. Injuries wouldnt be much of a problem. I will be surprised if they are not in the conference finals this year.

  14. I'm officially back on the "don't trade Gibson" train. Doatal is pushing him to be the goalie we all know John can be. Exciting times for Duck fans!

  15. That hit on Lindy was absolutely horrible. Kuraly better have a hearing or all hell is gonna break loose next time these two meet

  16. Those Anaheim anniversary jerseys are 🔥 and that was just the 2nd time I’ve seen them. Ought to make them permanent 3rds.

  17. What I found interesting was John Shorthouse wasn’t commenting the Leafs/Canucks game on Sat; he was commenting the Habs/Bruins. Sunday he was back for the Canucks / Habs.

  18. I remember a time when a western road trip to California was scary for some teams because all 3 teams from Cali were a powerhouse. Playing all 3 on the same trip was a beat down.

  19. Cuylle pointed to the puck IN THE NET! Thank the Hockey Gods that the Rangers are resilient this year.

  20. Mika still has another 100 ft to his game so at least he still makes an impact… unlike most stars who may as well be 3rd/4th liners without their offensive production

  21. My big issue with the NYR no goal is this:

When Culye thought he scored and bonino did too, the referee didn’t blow play dead, even though he lost sight of the puck. Instead he allows play to continue, skates over sees the puck in the net and then blows play dead.

The explanation given after review was “the initial shot did not cross the line and the play was frozen”

How? The whistle came after the puck was in the net, there was no intention to blow the whistle because the referee didn’t blow the play dead immediately after losing sight of the puck and instead blew it when he gained sight of it in the net. This was confirmed by numerous replays with the sound. How could the puck be “frozen” if it’s the referees job to blow the whistle when it is and he didn’t? Could’ve avoided that whole mess if he immediately blew play dead. But he didn’t.
