This guy just keeps going and still such talent…. He has changed with the game and keeps scoring…. If he hadent taken time off to play in the K maybe he could have touched Gretzky who knows?….

I hope he can last long enough to beat brett hull on the all time scoring leaders. If he plays til 45 like he seems to intend to then hell he might even beat Howe's record.

with almost 43 years of age unbelievable…yes he is slow but he has so much experience and skills he can still play in the NHL…what an achievement!
If it wasn't for the lock outs and 3 seasons wasted in KHL he couls have been beating some very prestige and beardy records. Let's say if he played an avarage of 65 games during the 5 seasons. That makes 325 games. He could score 100 goals and have 170 assist which does 270 point. He's current statistics are 1550 722 1080 1802. He could have had 1875 games 822 goals 1250 assists and 2072 points. Let's say he can pull off 2 more seasons with 100 games 25 goals 40 assist. That's all together 1975 games 847 goals 1290 assists and 2237 points. (1st in games, 2 in goals, 2 in assists and 2nd in all time points. All three behind the great Wayne Gretzky. I would been very depressed if I was Jagr for what I wasted.

I miss that goal song. The new owners didn't like it because the custom song still allows the Devils fans to yell, "You suck" after a pause. Owners think that getting rid of "You suck" will create a more "family friendly environment" during hockey of all sports and yet they can't put out a cup competing team because they cheapen everytime when it comes to the player salaries!
