  1. i hope there is no booing. he wanted to spend his career in vancouver. win lose or draw. no i'll see how the team does before i sign a long term deal. classy guy. i watch the leafs and the oilers always for the same reason people go to air shows and car races.

  2. I continued to follow Horvat after the trade, until his comment – which really took me back and surprised me.
The question was directly about fan reaction and his answer was pretty clear. As for him wanting to be a lifelong Canuck, doubtful, he went for the money bag. If you want to boo him, boo him however when Canucks score be certain to make some noise! Go Canucks Go 💙 💚

  3. The only people who will boo Bo Horvat will be the halfwits who need to bellow out “free” during the anthem..

  4. He didn't want to stay in Vancouver. He would stay for right price. Cant blame him for wanting to get paid but can't say he really wanted to be here. He knew they wouldn't be able to pay him high. He could have taken $6.5 million, probably would have gotten signed. But it is better he is gone. Worked out to be Hronik and a few players for Bo. Worked out really well how they did that. Hronik and Hughes are really good together.

  5. I'll put to you this way: Franky said all the right things a former teammate would say about a teammate. I love ya Franky, but Obviously he knows if he says anything negative it will get blown up, so I wouldn't take too much stock into this

  6. Really like Frankie.

I love Bo. He bled green and blue. Forever a Canuck. If you boo him consider yourself a fair weather fan.

  7. I never got all the hate for a player who showed up every night on a team that was thin on talent and so poorly managed. He never asked to be traded. Didn't refuse to sign. Didn't hold out until he got a new contract. He didn't complain. The Canucks aren't a better team without him. They just finally got around to adding the pieces that should have already been added when he was there and the wingers turned centre are now up to taking their own faceoffs. I've even heard people saying that Horvat wouldn't have been able to play with structure on the current Canucks team, when Bo is currently playing on the team with the most defensively structured game in the NHL. The only players with more ice time per game than him for the Islanders these days are a couple of defencemen.
