Zetterberg or Kronwall for me.
Hank. I wish I appreciated him more at the top of his game. His impact goes way beyond the stat sheet and being a captain for this franchise is a special honor.
How could it be anyone other than Lidstrom? He’s the best defenseman in wings history and the captain of a cup winning team. Not to mention a key member of the dynasty.
Kronwall was my favourite player growing up so thats easy

Franzen was my favorite player for the longest time. He was an absolute beast. A shame the concussions ended his career.

Zetterberg. Still one of my all-time favorites.
How can you not love Homer. He wasn’t the most skilled player but he was so influential in their success. The way he would irritate the shit out of the goalies and was always there to get a deflection or a tip-in.
Tomas Holmstrom will always be one of my favorites.
We really included Gus in this picture before Hank, Holmstrom, Franzen, etc.?
I hope that Raymond can crack some of these « best Swedes to play for Detroit » lists someday.

Zetterberg is my favorite player of all time, but I do wish I could go back and just watch Lidstrom to appreciate the little moments that you don’t remember
There’s too many good Swedes to pick just one. I love em all 🤗🇸🇪 that being said, I do own a sweater with #40 on it 😏
Kronwall was my first jersey so that was a personal love
