What a crazy game. I hope Dorefeyev is ok. That high stick knocked his teeth out. They were picking them up off the ice. Gotta laugh at the Montreal fans whining about that call. Like that couldn’t be a more BLATANT penalty and yet they still whine. IT KNOCKED HIS TEETH OUT FOR GOD SAKE😂. How you could possibly question that call is mental. Be mad at your team for taking a bad penalty late in a game . Not the refs for making the correct call.
That being said good comeback from the boys. Not all of them are gonna be pretty . Hill made up for the tough game at the very end with that clutch save . Good stuff . Also credit to Montreal. This is the 2nd time this season playing them that I was extremely impressed . They’re a fast team and they move the puck extremely well. And they’re young. They’re gonna be dangerous in the future . Credit to them. GG Montreal fans .

A few bad calls both ways. That hold on Slafkovsky and the second trip call on Stone come to mind. They had to pick up some of Dorofeyev’s teeth so that double minor was legit. Overall very entertaining game. Habs always give Vegas a good game

Hill gives up 5 goals and still gets the win. That is the jackpot winning of him being traded to the knights. That is why no knights goalie had a losing record last season.
JC051210 / Knight life the knights carry goalies to victory literally and that is very impressive. The knights proved that if the offense and defense plays good enough even an AHL level goalie or backup NHL goalie is all you need to win a cup. Prime Knights MAF would only dream about seeing the Knights offense be this good to help him out.
Reilly Smith is a better NHL player than Hill is even though they play different positions. Smith makes 5 mill per year and Hill makes 4.9 mill a year. I give the knights GM and president a ton of credit in what they did but I would rather have let Hill walk for nothing over lose Smith for only 100k more. All Ivan Barbashev had to do was wait and he only makes 100k more than Hill also. The knights GM and president gave Hill too much credit.

The Sharks are an AHL level team who should get a top 3 pick. Hill getting a shutout vs the sharks is not that impressive you should flaunt it to me. The knights literally could get an AHL goalie with no NHL experience and could duplicate that shutout vs the sharks.
Being able to win with tons of goalies is very impressive and is a credit to how good the knights are. I wish you would learn to scout a goalie and stop being so defensive about Hill. I got nothing against him personally but as a goalie he is nothing special that he should be that insanely overpaid by the knights or anyone else.
