Players are allowed way too much time to take penalty shots, they weave all over the width of the ice, slow almost to a stop then start again, and do all kinds of tricks…it's not a fair fight…there should be a shot clock with a maximum time allowed to shoot after you touch the puck, like 5 seconds…just enough time to skate at a decent speed on a straight line to the net and make 1 to 2 dekes…more like an actual breakaway which this penalty is designed to simulate, c'mon man

As a Detroit fan the blue helmets for Toronto for away games are acceptable.
Detroit wore red helmets for a few special occasions over the years with white jerseys and it was not much to brag about.
There was a play in the first I didn't like… No goal, but the shot "stuck" to Samsonov, and the Detroit player just skated right up and jammed at his pads… with SEVERAL Leafs standing right there. NO ONE stopped him charging to the goalie, NO ONE tried to push him back and NO ONE even said anything to him for poking at their goalie.
This Leafs team is just WAY too soft. WAY, WAY, WAY too soft. I swear, we add Tiger Williams to the roster TODAY, he'll be the toughest guy on the team. They really need to get INVOLVED in the games they play, or they're not going anywhere.
