Sundin still my favorite Leaf
Captain from the ages of 7-18 in my life. Not sure I will ever admire a player and person more than Mats. I remember cheering for Sweden in Nagano because he was on that team(I wasn’t the most logical child.)

Pure class, as always. One of the things about European and Russian players is they tend to retire and fade away. Glad for any chance to see a Mats interview.
My dad bought a Sundin jersey for me when I was 10, still my only leafs jersey I own. Great memories
our organization did him dirty near the end of his career. i wish he was a more prominent figure with the leafs now
Every chance to watch a Sundin interview is golden. Watching him is just such enjoyment and probably a lot of nostalgia but wow I just appreciate it so much when he speaks. He is always the captain that I think of when thinking of the leafs.
Mats is such an icon here in Sweden and I have so much respect of him. I meet him on my walks sometimes here in Sweden and we have said hi to each other but I don’t want to bother him more than that. Btw he is a giant and has been walking a really small dog.
