Very entertaining, very good hockey from both teams. I felt like the Islanders had the slight edge in the 3rd but as the caption says, Flames didn’t collapse and forced OT.

They’re starting to figure it out, and it looked like to my amateurish eyes that the D were supporting Huby like in that video that was pointed out the other week.

Still wish Kadri would pass more, but as a whole the Flames need to work on passing (sans Huberdeau, because that blind cross-slot pass was pure sex)

Wins or losses are less important to me at this point than Huberdeau coming back into his own and the kids developing, but it fucking stings to lose in shootouts.

The team’s play as of late, barring the Ottawa game, has at least got me more willing to tune in and that’s fun. I think we’re gonna be having a lot of fun in the new year with Pelletier back, maybe Coronato, and trades coming up on the horizon.

    Perfect outcome.

Popsicle has a nasty break away goal, led by a perfect zone breakout and a sneaky pass by kadri. Hubey looks like a completely different player since his goal, fun and exciting game and only further shows management/ownership what leaning into our youth can do. Got a single point.

Well perfect except for that shootouts are garbage. And we have a deadline on having both pops and zary up because of cap space.. but the future looks bright!
