Marcus Foligno a déclaré à The Athletic.

No surprises. You can say the injuries are hurting the team, and that’s fair, but there’s also a lot of guys not showing up.

I love Billy G but this shouldn’t be his job. Find a coach that can kick a team into shape ffs

We’re all looking for the guy who did this!

He should look in the mirror too. Extending a few old guys, making it almost impossible to trade as rentals if their not making the playoffs is baffling.

this team has the pieces. they have all demonstrated it’s possible to play well. goaltending improved in sweden. defense improved as well. the next step is the stars burying some goals. kaprizov looked much better vs TOR.

    i think it’s coming. they’ll be a wild card.

Billy is pissed off! He’s only going to give you a 3 year extension instead of 4!

He’s about to trade a third to get Ryan Reaves back

Not a single player on this roster that has been a regular here is better than prior years. You could count on one hand the ones that are even playing up to the level of their prior seasons. The only positives to this point are Rossi, Faber, and Maroon, all new guys.

It’s inevitable at some point the system gets stale and teams figure out how to beat it. You can make excuses for Evason about the roster, or the assistants, or the players needing to play. This isn’t just a Kaprizov issue. Evason’s system isn’t working, and he’s not a coach who has been able to meaningfully adjust. His time should be running out.

Cool words but your fingerprints are all over this roster Billy. The dumb extensions, using capital to acquire one year rentals when we’re not a cup competitor, re-upping a coaching staff with glaring deficiencies, etc.

Yeah, the cap stuff sucks and hopefully the words work but Billy gotta look in the mirror a little bit too.

Interesting that there’s not any quotes from players sticking up for the coaching staff. Perhaps they weren’t asked directly about the coaches but often when a coach is on the hot seat you’ll see quotes from players defending the coach. McDavid just had a quote like that. My hunch is that the players want a change, even though they are still trying hard

I’m kinda surprised this didn’t happen earlier. Like I said after this morning’s game…I’m happy with how these two games went in Sweden. We could have had worse losses. Yea, something needs to be addressed with the players and the coaching staff, but people should be somewhat happy that we lost only in overtime

He’s not happy, but he can’t do much about it since he has been handing out extensions with NMCs to everyone over 30.

Well, that should take care of the problem!
