* Crashing the net and getting shots on… works. Lots of really nice high danger opportunities there

This was probably Seattle’s best game of the season. Only one that comes close given the quality of the opponent is the win over Colorado unless I’m forgetting something.
This could have easily been like a 4-3 or 5-3 Canucks win if a couple of bounces went different ways. But it was still a great game because Seattle put in an (unfortunately rare) 60 minute effort and never looked out of the game even after giving up that early tough goal. Vancouver has been great this season but Seattle didn’t look outmatched at all even with this being their 3rd game in 4 days.

I broke my finger like a moron playing football (I shouldn’t do that) and we then played our best 60 minutes today. All these things in a 24 hr period…I know what must be done. The sacrifice is great but I’m willing to do it 💅🏼🔨.
seriously great game, fought and kept our heads in the game all 60 minutes. Took a while but Matty got going and he’s looking good! He’s playing super well defensively too! Love our D-men also creating chances and setting it up- Dunner, Riggy, Borgen, Big Cat too with some of those pretty dangles. Bunch of awesome blocks too by Tolvy and Lars tonight.
Certainly stuff to work on as always but so so much better than we have been. I’ll be transparent: I kinda thought we’d get our butts kicked going into the game today. Not being negative just nervous. So happy with what the guys did and how they showed up in such a big way. thank you for proving me wrong
