If klingberg injured you can't trade him if it is an LTIR stuation
Keep Klingwrap on ltir, stick Timmons into the Marlies, allow the current boys to produce, or not…. then make a decision
I knew he would be on LTIR. He's useless
Trades should be thr best way to create the cap space
Problem being trying to trafe Reaves and Klingburg without taking back bad contracts
Too bad they do not have much LTIR cap space so he could be easily replaced. Muzzin and Murray have just about used it all up this season.
Why would Calgary want Klingburg when he did not work out with the Leafs?

Do Not trade Reaves, he will be needed further on in the year, during the playoff run and as a protector of the core four, because LEAF NATION knows how they turtle, in the playoffs!!!

If the Leafs end up signing Zadorov, they should trade Reaves who has done very little for the Leafs so far! GO LEAFS GO!!!!

They will waive Reeves, nobody will claim his contract
You don't "trade away" Klingburg or Reaves, you give somebody a prospect or draft pick to take them off your hands.
