Picard might just surprise us…he does have a 939 per cent age in the ahl and that is pretty good…Rodrigue has a 969 percentage…all better then skinner had when he was in the ahl..

Seen Premeau’s highlights. There are none really. He’s not primo. He’s terrible. Looks exactly like Skinner wearing a Habs jersey. It will take giving up a good player to get a good goalie. A top 6 lineman & some good picks. It’s the only way out of goalie hell. Wish they’d just do it & get it over with.
Calvin Pickard starting for the Oilers? I can't think of an NHL start, other than of a preseason game, during his current contract, going into his current team's Monday Mountain Time game in South Florida. TBD will be how well he does.
Chicago and San Jose would be 2 good destinations for Campbell. Why not work a 3 way deal with one of those 2 teams

I really can't see the Habs letting Monty go. They view him as their goalie of the future, the one they're going to build around.
As for Primeau, he's just a prospect at this point so I'm not sure what use he'd be to us. We've got prospects; we need experience. Jake Allen? Meh; I suppose. If the price isn't too high he might do OK as a co-#1 with Stu.
I don't understand the Premeau rumors…. he blows. If that's who the Oilers are targeting, the organization is even more brain-dead than I originally thought. I don't care how cheap he is, he's not a real NHL goalie, and the team will not win with him in net.

Holland is going to end up making some blunder moves to save his job. Jim Benning did the same thing when he trade away a 1st, 2nd for OEL and Garland. Worse trade of all time.

Maybe a better choice would have been to start Pickard against TB instead of a Stanley cup final team. This could get ugly fast. And then Skinner will have to save us. 🤪

Ha ! Like $900k Primeau is such a step up from Halak , maybe he didn't make it because Carolina is actually good ? And your off your rocker if you think Campbell would cost MULTIPLE 1st rounders AND prospects , smoke another buddy . Crap teams will need someone like Campbell to get to the cap floor , plus Campbell could turn it around like other goalies have in the past . How about some useful information ?!
