   Damn good article and good call on the Cronin quotes. He definitely didn’t pull any punches, especially with the Z and Drysdale situation. This guy makes me want to go to war for him, and I’m just an overweight beer leaguer.

   Honestly its ok. Our guys are playing way better than I was expecting. Getting a taste for winning and building a winning culture. We arent contenders. We need to build a really good solid foundation so we can be contenders in a few years unlike the the oilers with two generational talents but no foundation.

   Great article. This paragraph in particular stood out to me:

   “One thing is this nagging habit of falling behind. They’ve led after the first 20 minutes in only five of their 18 games and taken leads into the third period on just three occasions. When they went into the first intermission Sunday with a 2-0 deficit, it was the ninth time they’ve had to fight back from being down early.”

   Five of 18! They’re not producing well enough on offense, taking too long to get into a good tempo, and it becomes too difficult to win when they’re always playing catch-up.

   It’s a matter of time before Zegras starts lighting it up. He’s just too good not to eventually (I hope). I think the biggest thing the ducks have to work on is penalties and the rest will come naturally with cronins new systems
