   I wouldn’t mind Haula getting to be rotated in with wearing an A on occasion. I know Palat gets it for his playoff pedigree, but Haula just seems to show up constantly on and off the ice. Frequently an interview subject regardless of how the team is doing (plus he’s not afraid to call things how they are like he did today), can play up and down the line up wherever he’s needed, seems to have a good rapport across the whole team, and he just plays the game the right way with his effort so he’s a good leader to follow his example.

   It feels silly to say that we’re playing must win hockey in November but here we are. The next 5 games are season defining. We have Columbus, Buffalo, Islanders, Flyers, and Sharks. If we don’t walk away with 8/10 at the minimum it’s going to be rough for us.

   Talk is cheap. We have the opportunity with this schedule to turn it around and gain some confidence. So do it.
