    1 point out of 4 against Chicago is inexcusable. Full stop.

    Having the third line out there against Chicago’s Bedard is also inexcusable.

    Im not one to like call for people’s heads but its thanksgiving and Leafs still haven’t put in a full 60 minute effort where every line is clicking. McCabe isn’t a top 4 guy. Giordano, Lagesson are not NHL regulars.

    I don’t want to blame the refs. But that penalty on Gregor was ridiculous.

    Leafs get abused after the whistle all the time and we have never gotten a powerplay for it.

    We started so strong, but overall a sloppy game. Samsonov wasn’t good (he got better late, the last goal was just chaotic). Matthews and Marner need to be a fair bit better, especially against a team like Chicago where there’s no tough matchup or shut-down specialist to speak of.

    There’s some positives to take, our depth looked better and despite not scoring the Nylander line was still fairly dangerous. Lots of scrums, not getting pushed around, which people around here would have killed for a few weeks ago.

    Still not firing on all cylinders, still need to work on locking games down and little attention to details, but « this team fucking sucks » or « waive Marner » are pretty drastic overreactions.

    I’m convinced this sub is full of Dubas lovers that just want to see this team fail. They’re 3rd in their division, will be 2nd if they win tomorrow.

    Go get some Penguins gear and find another sub.
