Flames get goalied by a backup

Hey I’ve seen this one before!!

  2. Comfortable-Lock-726

Ugh, our powerplay needs a change.

Ted Lasso : You know what the happiest animal on Earth is? It’s a goldfish. It has a 10-second memory. Be a goldfish.

    Onwards.

  4. Alarmed-dictator

I rather lose to the aves than the sharks and that the way I’ll cope with this loss

  5. I mean, no shame in losing to the Avs, but if our powerplay wasn’t so incredibly shitty, we actually might’ve pulled this back to go to OT. Great pushback in the 3rd, but even just 1 for 4 on the powerplay puts this game into a very winnable situation.

  6. Used_Locksmith4838

Good game couple bounces coulda changed the outcome flames played a solid game

  7. yeastneast

Didn’t get to watch past the first but sounds like our effort was good after that? PP was abysmal in the first period, Savard bb what is you doing

  8. SauronOMordor

I’ll take losing to the Avs over losing to the Sharks lmao

  9. ADFanatic

2-2 on that road trip including the Stars and the Avs…I’ll take it. Still rough watching our powerplay cosplay as a Timbits practice squad team though.

  10. tehcliffe

This team would bring Campbell back to form

  11. Power play is atrocious. Not sure if it’s personnel or coaching

  12. Comfortable-Lock-726

Even if our powerplay went 1/4 we would at least be in striking distance.

I think the pp needs a complete renovation.

  13. As soon as I saw 1-1-0 record on their goalie I knew it was gg

  14. mtbryder130

This was as close to a scheduled loss as possible honestly. Second of a b2b following a comeback win against one of the best teams in hockey

  15. Vinny331

This was winnable against a good team. Can’t be too mad.

I just miss when we were the team that other teams said that about. Just 2 years ago. Fuuuu

  16. TheSlobghetti

I kinda liked when Kadri pushed the ref…

Zary not being on pp1 is a crime. His feet are usually moving and it’s infectious. Plus he’s got playmaking swagger and high iq.

  18. mightyopinionated

Huberdeau is the most frustrating player to watch on the PP, it’s like he’s second guessing himself, before he acts and by then his window of opportunity is gone. I just don’t see a flow to his game at all.

  19. JaromeIggy

Can the mods create a game day thread with only a title?

  20. This team isnt going far if the powerplay doesnt drastically improve soon

  21. noahmiller032

Would it kill Vladar to have a .900 save percentage in one game

  22. backchecklund

Yeah not mad about this loss. Such a kind gesture by Colorado, I lost my dad a few days ago after a grueling battle against cancer so the tribute hit extra hard. Avs deserved the win, on to the next one. GFG!
