Summary Detroit is the leader in the club house right now… but the winds can change according to Friedman. Kane wants no leaks. Friedman kinda of hedging but thinks Detroit is the favorite right now because of cap space and Debrincat relationship and travel(which I thought was interesting). Limited travel short distances. Friedman says it challenging to get info on it. One source believes it’s Detroit. Another thinks it’s either Detroit Florida or Dallas. Friedman kinda rules out Dallas because he believes Dallas wants to add on defense. Also says there are teams that haven’t come out that looked into it. Suspects Boston might be a team that poked around on Kane. Friedman finishes by saying he’s most curious about Detroit because of cap room space on the roster and are performing well in contention in the Atlantic with 2nd best goal differential in the division 3rd in the conference which he says many believe is a good way of telling how good you are. Says “definitely think Detroit is a serious team in this”
