Every ref in this world are brutal
Even if they didn't call the slew foot, why didn't they call tripping? I have seen tripping called for way less. And you can clearly see that his leg was out to go under DeBrincat even as he was looking at the "puck"

All the video reviews in the game now and they can't review this. It's ridiculous.
This won’t be popular, but winners don’t retaliate during a stop in play and put their team short-handed.

What's the point of having a cornucopia of cameras if they can't be used to make calls? They exist to help eliminate the mistakes refs can make as they're only human and will mess up. But no. Can't use them to confirm penalties. Can't use them to call penalties either. So much potential reviewing can be done and it's just not getting used.
Where's Tim Peel when you need a make up call? He should be going into the nhl ref rooms and belittling these refs instead youth officials at his kids games.
Hartman gets a hearing for this, but Trouba doesn't for a baseball swing that connects with the head? DoPS is a fuckin joke
Slew foots should be an automatic game misconduct and a review by the league. Suspension and fine.

Very Shitty move by Hartman. Gets two games. Trouba smashes his stick over Frederick’s head and gets a fine.
When is the NHLPA going to stand up for the guys getting hurt, and not just the guy who faces discipline from the DOPS? The guys getting hurt are NHLPA members too, and their union is saying its cool to hurt another member.
"Wild's Ryan Hartman suspended two games for tripping" from the DoPS an hour ago, well deserved
