Worked really hard on this one, folks. Too hard, really. Should’ve phoned it in more, to be honest. Please read it so that my efforts were not in vain.

Getting in the dirty areas stronger and more accurate shot

Got called out indirectly by Quinn last season, didn’t play in Da Beauty League this summer. Realized he wasn’t going to find his rookie wrist shot anymore and started working hard on other aspects of his game. Now he’s more versatile than ever and he’ll even hit a higher ceiling on goals scored.

  4. It helps that he rained goals on a trash oilers team to start the season.

Kid don’t miss scooping up that garbage

He looks faster than he’s looked the last few years. Seems like he trained crazy hard over the summer. His 4 goal game to start the season also gave him a much needed confidence boost and he’s more confident now in shooting the puck at the right times, not playing with the hesitation we’ve seen the last while. Killer instinct is back.

I loved the way he took his time in burying that goal against the sharks. Bad angle, but he took the extra second to make sure he’d put it in.

  7. Confidence. Shooting more. Better opportunities from being on the pp where he is.

  8. Shooting the puck more, but more importantly making space for himself to get shots off. Being in the Powerplay bumper position is perfect for his shoot first play style. He is also battling on the wall, causing turnovers, his effort and confidence have completely 180’d. Playing with JT, a power forward who crashes in on the forecheck is rubbing off. That line is hard to play against, I am over the moon for Brock this season, he’s a special player.

Moving forward mentally. What Boeser went through with his dad is difficult and would weigh down on the best of the best. Boeser always had the skill as he showed in his rookie year. His shot was respected across the league to the point Crosby felt the need to introduce himself to him at the All-Star.

Remember the episode of him in “Building Brock”?

Once he was able to make peace with what happened and move forward remembering his dad, I think he was finally able to focus on hockey again and he’s proving why he has one of the most dangerous shots in the league.

This Canucks season has been going well so far, but one of the highlights for me is how well Boeser is doing. I hope he retires here.

This is completely useless info other than I used to see Brock “walking” around in the neighbourhood every once in awhile last year. And holy fuck did it look painful. Like I can’t believe he was skating around the next day let alone playing an NHL game. My hips and back hurt just thinking about it. They all play injured etc….
But when I saw the quotes from him talking about how he changed his off-season training and all that I thought fuck it is taking my guy in my fantasy draft… now who’s looking good 😎
Keep it Brock you are a beauty! Also can confirm that flow is breathtaking in person and seems like a superrrr nice dude

It’s the hair, he changed from head n shoulders to Pantene

I think Bozer is closing his eyes when he shoots now

He shoots quicker instead of trying to line up a perfect shot.
