Is it possible for players to skip interviews?
As reported, Mitchy has the exact same point totals that he did this time last year, it's not that bad at all. I love the Leaf's, I love the media, but we seem to be asking the players the same things almost every scrum. Let's bring some fresh questions to the boys! They are doing just fine.
This team needs to tell the media to take a hike and that they'll only talk to the media once all the hacks are gone.
I mean, here we are, the mecca of hockey and you can't find a more misinformed media. They know nothing about hockey.

Mitchy has the same point total as last year at this point. Love that kid. Been a leaf fan since 1966. What a non-issue……again.
Here is my take on this – the team isn’t playing their best and their record is ok, still in the playoffs and not too far from 2nd in the division or even challenging the B’s. So, it’s kind of like playing your worst quarter or half of football and being down one score. Make some adjustments and get back to work and before you know it, you are clicking on all cylinders. In other words, the playoffs are far far away and plenty of time to get the team playing to their potential and then watch out. If they are above 500 and in almost every game playing pretty poor, they will dominate when they get it going!!!!

No hate, but man some of Masters’ questions are brutal. Get creative and actually ask some questions of substance versus Willy on the TTC or asking players about his game every scrum.

So, the team is currently at 5 regulation wins past Thanksgiving, hasn't accomplished a thing since the Shanny plan began, and the automatic priority is to sign Nylander now that Matthews has been signed. No hesitation. The team isn't working out as planned, yet just keep re-signing the same core players and say that it's your intention to do so. Keep the "family" together at all costs even if they aren't winning. Shanny is running the show, not this puppet.
