    I’m hoping that Woodcroft was unavailable, because I can’t imagine why you would pick this guy over Woody.

    I hate the move and think it’s just bill being lazy and going with what he knows. That being said I took a closer look at Hynes’ teams he’s coached. He did a pretty good job in the AHL with a mediocre roster, did an okay job in NJ with a mediocre roster and was up (and mostly down) in Nashville with a pretty good roster and good goaltending. Overall I still think it’s a bad look for Bill but Hynes isn’t as bad as I first thought. His playoff record is tough though, at least in the NHL

  4. Only thing I can think of is GMBG saw how bad the team was doing this year and decided to pull the plug on the established coach who could push the team to maybe still snag a playoff spot. Now you get a new coach to fuck with everything that has been built on for years and probably gets us a better draft pick.
