   « Unacceptable » conduct! Hmmm…… I wonder what that could be! I sure do hope he didn’t happen to come across some dirt on the team and was caught trying to report it!

   He found the smoking gun incriminating the league and Chi of conspiring to fix the draft and threatened to leak it to the press. They called his bluff and fired him.

   Or he had relations with someone’s mother.

   Or something TOTALLY different.

   Here’s what Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson said about the situation Tuesday:

   « First and foremost, I want to start off by reiterating that the organization is committed to a culture of accountability, » Davidson said. « Last week, management was notified of possible misconduct by Corey Perry. We pulled him from the game and conducted an internal investigation. Upon learning the findings of that investigation, we made the decision to terminate his contract. I will not be able to disclose any details. I do want to be very clear: this does not involve any players or their families, and anything that suggests otherwise is wildly inaccurate, and frankly, it’s disgusting. »
