1. he got fired bc he kept crapping his pants and refused to wipe. everyone lost respect for him after that

  2. The problem is like Dean has been using a hammer (Intensity) to put screws in (finesse). It will work to a degree but it really makes more of a mess than a fine product! Employ the proper tool for the job and the finished product is better. Stop treating them as nails (grinder, defense first) and use the correct tool for the best performance (speed and finesse). I think these guys resent grinder style hockey. The 4th line didn't really follow grinder and was looser and got more chances per minute of play loose is fast! But Dean resented that and cut them to eleven minutes a game and increased Kaprizov and Boldy's ice time (Marcus Johansso too)to 23-26 minutes. Dean plays the 4th line less in favor of guys who aren't performing that are supposedly the "skilled" ones. Put Boldy and Johansson on 4th line and limit their play until they produce. You have to reward the hardest working guys on this team! Otherwise what's the message, "Play like dog 💩 and get more ice time"?

  3. the simple fact is the league is undergoing a depth drought because of rapid expansion. The NHL has created a situation in which the league has reverted back to the 80s in depth, scoring, save percentage and bad players taking up spots to fill the void. Some teams are going to become "mickey mouse"

  4. Wasn't Dean's fault. Should have played through this. They don't have the talent that they've had in years past. They're confused with their goalies. Just play through it…. The answer was not to fire him. Coming from the state of hockey Minnesota

  5. Owner CL has mandated no rebuild ala tank. So what ever GMBG does he’s going to have to build on the fly. It’s looking like the 27-28 season as the best window for a run. Some of the existing older players will be gone and the prospects will have time to develop.

  6. John Hynes is not coming in to be a long term answer at head coach. He’s coming in to handle the changes that need to be made in season and whose philosophy closely aligned with Billy Guerin’s. He’s there to help develop Boldy, Rossi, Faber, etc. and fix holes in the offense, the break out and the overall mentality of the team right now. If Hynes exceeds expectations he will be extended a year or two. Unless Hynes can show playoff series wins, I expect him to be gone about the same time the Wild get out of cap constraints in a couple years.
