The whole sequence of where that slaf pic came from is one of my favourite habs moments in recent times.

Bring the downvotes, but Anderson is playing better than Slafkovsky despite producing less. This is also what our management thinks btw

Edit : fiouuu, no time to make individual responses. My point is that it seems like Anderson creates a lot more opportunities than Slaf on the ice. He might not score, but he’s physical and makes things happen with his compete. The analysts on RDS said the same things many times. The way St-Louis uses him also prove my point. You don’t give Anderson free opportunities endlessly just to try to get him going. St-Louis knows that BJA brings something to the table that Slaf can’t offer, and that’s why he’s deployed on PP1. I also think it’s kinda dumb to want to go against what St-Louis is doing. I mean, none of you are NHL coaches, and I suspect none of y’all are NHLers either

Ideally, you also want your 1st overall pick to learn to drive a line, not become a complement. Slaf plays like he’s scared to have the puck all the time. He has no confidence to shoot either. Many coaches like Andre Tourigny agree that the NHL is not a developmental league. So I think he should have prime opportunities there instead.

If for Slaf to develop Anderson has to be terrible I’ll take that trade

I was one of those. I was wrong. But I honestly wish Anderson finds his game.

Pretty disingenuous really. Most people weren’t saying send him to the AHL because he’s a bust they were saying send him down because he’s not ready. If anyone thought his turn around would be this quick they were full of shit and if anyone thinks this is it for his hiccups they are dumb as shit. So great shitpost, but no genius level intellect.
