Chytil just went on the LTIR
It’s possible but he is probably more valuable at C for us. We will need to trade for a RW.
He’s been tried sparingly at RW, but it’s never stuck. If I remember correctly, he had very good underlying numbers despite not much production. Funny enough, similarly to KK on the top line this season.
I’m into the idea, but we can’t keep trotting out 3C Bonino for more than a week.

No ones talking about chytil on the wing, after 45 points as 3c.
I do suspect we’ll give it a look, if and when Chytil comes back. Basically the question is what do we need more, a 1 RW or a 3 C?
Center is a more “important” position, but Chytil is lower in the depth chart there. Chytil is also not good at faceoffs…with our current success there is no doubt he’d drag us down in that area (not a big deal but worth mentioning).
It’s way more important that the Rangers can roll 4 lines. Right now, there’s a fairly useless line that Cuylle is languishing on. Chytil returning, whenever it happens, means that line can be legitimate again.
Part of me thinks this makes sense to avoid some of the concussion risk for Fil. Less board play down low and defensive responsibility.
He has the tools to be a pure sniper winger.
Troch is playing way too well to be a 3C and Chytil is too good to be a 3C
I’d be happy to see Chytil try boost the spark that Mika and Kreider are starting to find again
Also I’d be fine with Bonino Cuylle and Wheeler, they don’t do anything but they’re defensively responsible enough to be a 3rd line

Chytil should go back to center, as Bonino is not a third line center. I know everyone says Trocheck should stay 2C but dont be shocked when Chytil goes back there after getting his feet underneath them.
The lines are very similar in most metrics and output but Lavs is all about usage. Having Trocheck on the third line gives him a defensively center whos much better in the dot, to start in the defensive zone. Look how theve been used and youll see the numbers dont lie.
Im sure it will get downvoted cause Panarin/Tro/Laf have been very appealing to watch and are converting but they are also getting scored on. Theyve given up 1 more goal then theyve scored. In the 11 games theyve been together theyve been scored on in 8 of those games.
