  1. To think Vegas had been on struggling a bit leading up to this game. Sure asserted their dominance tonight. Yikes. Not sure what is up with Petey or frankly all the top guys right now.

at the start of the season after a good handful of games I identified Soucy and Suter as 2 of the biggest difference makers on the team. fuck my life

I’m not willing to throw the towel in on the team, but really have no interest in watching again until those 2 come back because this team does not have the depth to compensate for losing them. All we can do is hope for .500 hockey in the meantime

  3. julesieee

Millsy post-game interview now. He’s blaming himself and taking accountability.

  4. BulwarkNuck

Dump and chase hockey is back on the menu.

  5. Garland is the hardest working player on the team, guy shows up to every shift. Need that work ethic in our top 6, could have been a different game. Lets pump the Flames

  6. There goes the bandwagon fans giving up again.. they played sloppy tonight but we’re still 5th in the league. Something obviously needs to click in their brains but when it does we can play better again. Tired of people seeing a loss and dismissing them

  7. zewppewp

It really feels like this team is at its best when they simplify the game. Don’t know what it is about our guys but it seems like they’re perpetually trying to make highlight reel plays

  8. keefstrong

Team gives up early goals and the fans in the building typically have that nervous energy. Our impressionable players feed off it.

Here’s hoping zadorov pummels some guys next time we go down. And get the whole arena juiced

Our third line was again, the best line tonight.

Vegas showed us why they are defending Cup champions despite a slump lately.

We simply got outshot, outbodied, and had no answer for their back check and forecheck.

Cole’s play has dropped off a cliff. He looked decent for the first 15ish games but then the injuries bumped his playing time up. He’s 34 years old and probably can’t handle the increased amount of time. Thankfully the Zadorov acquisition will help

  11. bleachedgin

watched live, Vegas forecheck was nuts. Not to mention our defense outside of hughes and hronek looked bad. Myers was something else lol

Guys I think this loss means the season is over. The franchise will fold now, and the city will be physically relocated to a different location.

  13. phantomgiratina

please do not play petey with kuzemnko anymore, its not working right now, promote hogs to the top 6

  14. Yardstick game. Not a great result. On to the next one, hopefully with a few lessons.

  15. phantomgiratina

Our team and PP is so good at zone exits in the offensive zone by passing it back to no one or a player not receiving the puck properly

Okay question about the schedule… are we just front loaded with games or something.just for example, we’ve played 2 more games than edmonton, and we play 2 more games before they play their next one. We’ve played 4 more games than LA. Seems pretty lopsided considering how many games the Canucks have played the last month

  17. xtothewhy

Holy fuck this sportsnet crew with batch just completely giving excuses for Pettersson. No. Stop. Enough. Whatever his situation is needs to be resolved somehow. He’s not the reason for this loss, not by far, but having him playing well would make a difference.

  18. jdmay101

See, that right there is what a good hockey team looks like.

  19. SociopathicAutobot

Tocchet is actually proving to be everything that I was worried he would be as a coach.

  20. phantomgiratina

why do the forwards always dump it in before actually chasing?

  21. Nuck_1198

Suter and Soucy could not come back any quicker!

  22. wintercom

I remember when the Sedins were still playing our November results were always meh and then they destroy in Dec.

I for one think this is what’s happening. Because I must keep the good vibes

  23. The all too familiar Canucks team of the past 10 years creeping back again. Team is full of holes and a tired Vegas team with two key injuries on defence exploited them.

Can we celebrate the victories? Like management making good decisions? Or how we are clearly playing way better than last season? There’s a lot of work to do, but I’m very pleased with the progress the club has made over all so far. Let’s just keep heading our way in that direction and maybe we will be true contenders in the next coming seasons. We got beat by one of the current best teams in the league. Big deal. Y’all are acting like a bunch of sour babies. I stand strong with the Canucks thick and thin.
