  3. I’m in awe at how good the team is this year.

Never feels like we’re out of it.

Everyone who said Laviolette would just be an old retread and hold the team back is looking like a moron so far.

  4. Training-Sound6194

Another game won in the face off circle – cannot remember when this has ever been a strength for the team. Thank you Peca.

  5. LilMissLinNim

Who was the guy on the call for ESPN radio tonight? He’s pretty damn good.

  6. TheSeekerOfSanity

My wife walked in when we were down 3-1. I told her “Not worried about it at all. They will come back and win.”

Once again proving that I am always right!

    j/k

  7. Having a coach who makes effective in-game adjustments still doesn’t feel real

  8. NickFotiu

I don’t know how this team keeps winning but I love it……….

  9. kingfarouk

Back in first! What an insane game, win, and comeback!

  10. 2nd game back after nearly a month off for Foxy and he comes in off the top rope with a 3 point game.

That’s my fellow Long Island Boy! 🥲🥹

  11. Upbeat_Shock_6807

Loving this. Unlike previous years, being down 2-0 or 3-1 I’m no longer panicking. We actually have a coach that makes smart mid game adjustments that works. No matter the score we’re never out of it

  12. homiej420

    0-2 comeback nice 😎

  13. Neans888

Johnny B > Kakko. I’m not happy about it and I’m far from a Kakko hater. It’s just true though

  14. Kinda want a brodz jersey lol, that’d be a deep cut

  15. bjisba41

Lav is so much better of a coach than GG was

  16. NYR at 5v5 with Brodzinski on the ice:

    shot attempts 12-6
    shots 8-3
    scoring chances 7-3
    goals 2-0
    64% xGF%

Vesey was right behind him in xGF%, and Pitlick was great again. all 3 of these guys have been rotated in and out of the lineup, or in HFD. i can think of 3 other forwards on this team that have played every night but shouldn’t have.

the line blender in the 2nd might’ve been meant to be a wakeup call, but he elevated both Brodz and Vesey and demoted 2 of the aforementioned 3 forwards who have played every night, and the quality of NYR play went up very quickly. that isn’t a coincidence.

there’s plenty of time until everyone’s healthy but you’d be extremely hard pressed to put together a list of NYR’s 12 best forwards and it not including 2 of, if not all 3 of 26/71/22

Sam Reinhart and Bill Pidto: a love story

BUT, Sam Reinhart scoring against the Islanders, a TRUE LOVE STORY

    the unofficial Ranger

  18. ItsHeadbangerG

Terrible first period, constant turnovers, a lack of any sort of offensive pressure, and a bad east/west game was certainly not the ideal start we all wanted. Thankfully this is now a team that can make the adjustments necessary to storm back from 3-1, and they did exactly that. I’ll give Nashville credit too, they played with aggression and didn’t let the Rangers take space easily.

I’m tired of the « Persepolis is burning » reactionaries throwing Shesty to the wolves when opposing teams score when it’s mostly defensive breakdowns allowing these goals. I also think it’s hilarious when Shesty keeps us in the game to allow the comeback, these same people suddenly go into hiding. Get fucked doomers.

We back at it again tomorrow. See ya then.

  19. Reptar_4_Life

I just love that even with the line switches, Lav knows enough to still keep bread and laffy together

  20. lionson76

Vin took 26 faceoffs and won 19 of ’em. 🤌

  21. Close game check

    Come from behind win check

Best team in the league check

  22. InfinityConstruct

W baby the 2023 New York fucking Rangers. 30 YEARS

  23. knockouwt

Missed the game today sadly..why are people saying Lavi had a good game?

  24. AdamFoxxx

Ugliest win so far. Courtesy of having an actual competent coach.

  25. Three apples for Foxy!!!
    Hang on… I’m gonna go write a children’s book.

  26. Is this a better team without Chytil and Kakko?

  27. BarmyDevonian

An in-game adjustment that doesn’t involve promoting offensive juggernaut Barclay Goodrow. What is this sorcery?

Not a masterclass tonight, but some real in-game adjustments helped bring the team back in it. The compete including Shesty did the rest. Love this team.

Also thrilled for Brodzinski. Talk about a guy who’s played well enough to earn an NHL spot the past few seasons only to be pushed out.

Instead of sulking he’s gone down, captained the pack, helping young kids like cuylle and Othmann develop, and lit up the AHL. Loved seeing him finally put some points up in the NHL as a reward. Really hope he sticks this time. His track record doesn’t suggest it, but I think his speed, hustle, and shot are an asset.

  28. Main_Paramedic_2822

Last year we lose that game 2-4.

  29. jkman61494

The good news is I heard Brodzinski’s name more today than I heard Kakko’s for a month.

The bad is I heard Brodzinski’s name more today than I heard Kakko’s for a month. And Brod had 2/3 his points in 40 minutes today than Kakko had in a month

  30. DismalChance

Is this what actual coaching and proper strategy adjustments looks like? Because it sure feels like it’s right.

  31. gibson531

I was hoping when Troch scored he was gonna do the DeVito celly 🤌🏻

  32. duckets615

    3 stars
    1. O’Reilly 1g 1a
    2. Josi 1a
    3. Trocheck 1g 2a

Just ignore Fox’s 3 points and Igor’s 38 saves and give the top 2 stars to the losing team. Totally makes sense.

  33. elfinito77

    I like steady lines…

But with how good Tro-Kreider-Brodz looked, I’d definitely give that and 93-10-13 the start as 1-2 tomorrow

  34. Othmann is on a heater. I wonder if he gets a look soon with Wheeler not playing too well

  35. homiej420

Yo anyone know if the guy who makes those schedule calander phone backgrounds has done december yet?

  36. greysfordays

“Did u see the stars of the game? Who won the game?????” – my dad, just now, and after reading it I looked up the stars of the game and he’s got a point lol

  37. d1rtydutch

Trouba has gotten better every year we’ve had him.

  38. Gritty team win. I honestly felt like they had this game and they proved that right. This team can do things.

  39. dankeykanng

Damn Lindgren looks 100x better without the stache

  40. Ok_Mud_3985

We have two more wins than the second place team and they have two more games. Wow

  41. Key-Tip-7521

This was a incredible comeback, in a wild game. A game where the team looked like shit, but in a well coached team, FOUND A WAY TO WIN! This episode of Rangers Hockey: *~~To Catch a Predator,~~* *Chicken Fried.* This was some game folks. so the review

1st: Very, very un Ranger like. I kinda fell asleep watching this period. Maybe the Rangers were asleep too. It looked like a game that was similar to the game where the Rangers lost to the same team at the Garden. I was hoping they turn it around.

2nd: And exactly they did! Lav lit a fire under the teams ass. No helmet throw needed. But a goal from r/hockey most hated person ever. OUR CAPTAIN, OUR LEADER, Jacob Trouba got the team back in it. A shorthanded goal given up and I thought, it’s not their night tonight. But, not until, the man known as Horse Meat, Christopher James Kreider get’s his typical tip in. But after another Preds penalty, the power play went to work. Vincent Trocheck, in the bumper spot tied the game. Vincent Trocheck… (whispers) It’s a Power Play goal! It turned the game around.

3rd: Heart attacks and high pressure in this period. It felt like at some point, the Preds were gonna score, but Igor said nyet, nyet, nyet. But the guy who deserved a goal all season, the Purple Heart honoree Ryan Lindgren. Fox got 3 apples tonight. And the Rangers were able to hang on.

I’ll say it again, this is what happens when you have a coach that can make adjustments. He made the adjustments tonight, and this was the result. A gritty, grindy way to win. People may not like it. But wins like this come when alot is on the line. Could they be better? Hell yea. But the most important thing is, Rangers win! Another way to find ways to win. Who knows what would have happened if the hockey war criminal was still the head coach. Keep finding ways to win! No time for rest. Onto the Sharks and coached by…. oh him.

Ranger Oppie called in; He left two things 1. Since the episode is has something to deal w/Chicken Fried. « The Rangers like their Chicken Fried. Cold Beer on a Saturday Night. Two points and in just fit so right. They love the sun rise, see the look in Igor’s eyes. Feel the love of Kreids hug whoa oh oh. » Oh and « Take in the Sheets. 2 points in the bag. »

Onto the Sharks. Keep the good times rollin’

God Save the King. Back afta dis.
