Despite what the score made it look like, this game wasn't really a Vasy problem. It was a whole team problem, and it's not a new problem either. This kind of stuff has been going on in front of Johansson a lot, too. This is just the worst it's gotten. I hugely respect Vasy for having chosen to stay in this game.
The unfortunate reality of goaltenders. Surgery like that usually is the career ender or at the very least you’re never as good as you were before
